The Shopper Advertiser

Delevan, WI. Summer 1995-Present

3rd Press Jogger

Help Lead and second pressmen in operation of offset web press. Duties included jogging papers and palatizing them. Changing paper rolls, plates, ink, etc. Other duties included working the bindery department as a fork truck operater, inserting papers, and in camera burning plates.

University of Wisconsin Parkside

Kenosha, WI. Spring and Fall of1995

Painter

Worked independently throughout the school year for the Physical Plant. Responsibilities included: painting offices, walls, ceilings and stairwells. Also responsible for making minor repairs in drywall.

Lynch Display Vans, Inc.

Burlington, WI. 1992-1995

Professional Wood Craftsmen

Started in the shelf department building handcrafted solid oak display shelves for Snap On tool trucks. Shortly there after was put in charge shelving department. After one year was promoted to cabinetmaker working for Special Projects Division. Responsible for building to blueprint specification: custom oak, aluminum, and formica counter tops and cabinets. Also responsible for adapting designs to meet a specific application.

Achievements:

Responsible for co-designing New light-weight display shelves using space age materials

Achieved the highest level of quality and efficiency in shelving department

1989-1992 Hardee's Food Systems, Inc. Lake Geneva, WI.

Supervisor/Certified Trainer

Supervised and directed employee production. Was responsible for training employees as to the proper procedures in food preparation. Also the use of the equipment involved in food production. Was further responsible for assuring a quality product for public consumption. Office duties included: Daily discrepancy, Waste, Inventory control reports, Handling money and making bank deposits. Worked as a clown for birthday parties and unloaded bi-weekly delivery trucks on days off.

Responsible for running tests, weighing product, and inspecting product in order to insure quality. Also operated: Fillers, wrappers, cartoners, and other various packaging line equipment.

Night Manager

Manage employees and oversee the store including closing responsibilities. Prepared breads and meats for sandwiches. In charge of waste control, inventory and production. Other responsibilities included: Preparing Large sandwiches for catered events, cleaning the restaurant, and handling phone orders.

Americana Resort, Inc.

Lake Geneva, WI. 1986-1989 Presently called, Grand Geneva Resort & Spa

Food Runner/Assistant to Room Service Manager

Duties included: Transporting food and beverage throughout the resort, Assist waitress's in dining room with bussing of tables. Also handled ordering, purchasing, and inventory for the dinning room.
